Golfing Society overcome White Hart A

The Golfing Society were well beaten in their away match earlier in the season, and with the relegation battle hotting up, were in determined mood not to throw away another valuable two points.

Taylor (21) and Gibbs (22) opened up a 12 pin lead thanks to John Lansdown having an unusually low score for the opposition.

Tinney (19) and Williams (22) were unlucky to lose 8 pins in the middle part of the match, but were still able to hand on a lead to the anchor pair of Lewis (22) and Pinder (29)

Good consistent scoring enabled the Golfing Society to pull a further 4 pins to win the match by eight pins.
