The Golfing Society comprehensively outplayed a useful Newtonian side who are in the promotion mix to return to the first division.
Gibbo (30) and Miss line dancer (14) both pulled pins on their hapless opponents, to give the Golfing Society a nine pin lead at the changeover.
The Leprauchan (38) and Crabbers (29) were the highlight of the evening both giving masterfull performances, and gaining a further twenty five pins to all but cement victory against the leaden footed Newtonians.
Ned (27) and the Capt. (30) sealed victory by pulling a further five pins to see the Golfing Society through to the next round of the Front First Cup by 39 pins.
Next league action is away to the White Hart A on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd January.

Golfing Society blown away by Roaring Twenties
With three players unavailable for this match, it was always going to be an uphill task to beat a resurgent Roaring Twenties side.
The Leprauchan (20) and Miss Salmonela (10) opened brightly, but fell away in dramatic fashion to leave the Golfing Society three pins adrift at the change over.
Mr Wobbly (11) slipped and slithered to another low score, completely unable to assist debutante Tony M (19) who once he finds his feet will be a useful signing for the Golfing Society.
Any hopes of repeating the previous home match and clawing back the six pins deficit were dashed with Ned (22) unable to find his form, and the Capt (31) getting an unfortunate duck, to see the Roaring Twenties win by fifteen pins.
Next match will be the first round of the Front First Cup, where we have been drawn away to the Newtonians on the 30th December.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Ship-A-Hoys sunk by Golfing Society
On a cold winter's night, the Golfing Society found themselves in the freezing atmosphere of the skittle alley at the Ship, Oldbury on Severn, where outside temperatures were dipping to -5C.
However, things started to warm up when Gibbo (38) took centre stage to bag this seasons highest away score, ably supported by the WKD Fox (7), to leave them just six pins adrift at the handover.
With Crabbers (30) and the Leprachaun (15) adding a touch of class to the middle order, the deficit was soon hauled in, leaving the Golfing Society one pin up.
The anchor pair of Ned (23) despite not replicating last weeks form, and the Capt. (27) kept their noses in front of an all at sea home pair, to see the Golfing Society home and dry by 6 pins.
Next weeks match is at home to the Roaring Twenties 8.30 start at the Rugby Club.

Golfing Society reel in Wot-U-Wots
Christmas came early for the Golfing Society, when they overcame a 23 pin deficit to ease home by just three pins.
Gibbo (26) fresh from valeting his car after Howard walked his boots all over the interior, and Calamity Fox (19) got the Golfing Society off to a good start, handing over a two pin lead to this weeks Golfing Society weakest links.
Crabbers (16) regularly found the Barrington gap, and with Mr Wobbly (12) finding the side of the alley, they lost twenty five pins to leave the Golfing Society well adrift.
However, all was about to change with Ned (41) getting his highest score for many a long day and the Capt.(29) weighing in with another nerveless performance, to pull an unlikely victory from the jaws of defeat!
Next weeks match is on Wednesday 8th December against the Ship-A-Hoys at the Ship, Oldbury on Severn.
