Golfing Society shoot down Lone Rangers!!
The Golfing Society earned themselves an early Christmas Present by outgunning the Lone Rangers by seven pins on Thurday evening.
Taylor(29) and Tinney(12) were quick on the draw and pulled out a two pin lead against Ponting (Jnr.) and Longman(Jnr.)
Crabtree(25) and Lewis(18) exceeded expectations and were unlucky to lose four pins against Gardner and Longman(Snr.), to leave the match with all to play for.
Pearce(25) and Pinder(33) were once again hitting the frontpin with a snipers accuracy, which proved a duel to far for Curtis (the younger) and Ponting(Snr.)
Next week, the Golfing Society are in action against the Ship A at Oldbury on Thursday 18th in the first round of the Front Pin Cup.

Golfing Society sink Essilor
The Golfing Society were expecting a hard match against their First Division opponents in this years 3rd round of the All-in Cup.
Gibbs (22) and "sailor" Lewis (28) lost 10 pins to leave the Golfing Society's ambitions apparently shipwrecked before they had hardly left port.
However a spirited piece of piracy by Crabtree (35) and Mr Pastry (29) pulled back thirteen pins to leave Essilor all at sea.
The anchor pair of Pearce(34) and Pinder(32) left their opponents in the doldrums by pulling a further ten pins to see the Golfing Society safely back in harbour by 13 pins and through to the quarter finals.

Golfing Society beat White Hart A
The Golfing Society put November behind them, and bounced back with a resounding win away against the White Hart A.
With the normal opening pair of Taylor and Lewis unavailable, Tinney (23) and Gibbs (23) were able substitutes, but were unable to stop their opponents carrying forward a six pin lead.
Crabtree (29) and Williams (19) were always ahead of their opposite pair, and pulled back four pins to give the home side a narrow two pin lead with the last pairings to play.
Pearce (28) and Pinder(29) made no mistakes, and pulled 11 pins to see the Golfing Society through to their first win in the league since the 6th November.
Next week, the Golfing Society are in cup and league action on Thursday 11th December, with two home matches against Essilor (8.00pm start) and Lone Rangers (9.15pm start).
