The Leprachaun (13) and Miss Fortune (16) dropped two pins in an opening partnership of 29 pins.

With Crabbers swanning off to Italy, Gibbo (22) was drafted in to partner the Capt. (28) and together they pulled 29 pins to give the Golfing Society a 27 pin lead.

The Accountant (7) had another hard day at the office, but with Ned (24) they lost only 3 pins to see the Golfing Society win their second home game of the season at Fortress Coopers Farm.

Monday night blues for Golfing Society

It's always an uphill task to win at the White Hart Olveston, and so it proved once again for an under performing Golfing Society.

The Leprachaun (13) and Miss Taken Identity (24) found themselves down by 14 pins despite only having to ducks to their opponents one.

Crabbers (18) and The Capt. (24) had no luck at all, and leaked a further 5 pins to leave the anchor pair with it all to do.

With the Accountant (10) still struggling to find last years form, and Ned (21) still looking for a big score, a further 21 pins were lost to leave the Golfing Society 1 & 1 for the season so far.

Next match is home to the Newtonians on Thursday 22nd September.
