Survivors overcome Golfing Society

In the final match of the season, with the Golfing Society safe from relegation, the Survivors beat the Golfing Society by 22 pins.

Taylor(26) and a below par Lewis (14) lost 10 pins, and in an effort to get back in the match Pearce(17) and top scorer Crabtree(27) set about retrieving the situation, but lost by a further 7 pins to leave the Golfing Society 17 pins down.

Tinney(16) and Pinder(25) were unable to make any inroads into the score, and lost a further 5 pins by the end of the match.

The Golfing Society can now look forward to their summer break and defence of the Bill Blakemore cup.
