Jokers have last laugh over Golfing Society

Taylor(32) and Tinney(30) got the Golfing Society off to a perfect start in last Wednesday's relegation show down at the RBL Patchway.

Racing into a 13 pin lead, the Golfing Society were looking for their first away win since the 19th November, but with Crabtree(21) and the luckless Williams(17) unable to get a large score, the match swung back to give the Jokers a narrow one pin lead going into the final pair.

Lewis(25) opened his score with a magnificent 9, and with Pinder(23) the away team were back in the lead and looking for that elusive win. However, with Lewis then visiting the Lord Mayors Show, and Pinder quickly following him with two more ducks, the match was grabbed away by the Jokers who coasted home by 19 pins.

Next match is home to the Ship-A-Hoys on Thursday 4th March.
