Golfing Society lose to Gamblers

Due to early season unavailabilities, the Golfing Society fell by 20 pins in their first home match of the season.

Tinney (9) and Taylor (27) were unable to get off to their customary good start, and handed over a defecit of 20 pins to the rearranged middle pairing of Williams (16) and Pinder (33). They managed to put a brake on the Gamblers skittle fest, losing only one pin.

Pearce (26) and Lewis (18) came together and were the only home side skittlers to pull a pin!

Next weeks match is away to the newly promoted Roaring Twenties at the Wheatsheaf on Wednesday evening 8.30 start.

Capt. Pinder
