Golfing Society do double over Ship-a-Hoys!

The Golfing Society went into this game against the league leaders with nothing to lose and all to gain. Having not won since the 24th February, the Golfing Society were not expecting an easy time against the Ship-a-Hoys, although they had beaten them in the away tie earlier in the season. The match did not start well for the Golfing Society with Gibbo (17) and the Leprachaun (24) losing seventeen pins to Thorne and Thorne. However, the Accountant (17) and Crabbers (27) set the Golfing Socity back on track by pulling eleven pins against Thorne and Johnson. The Golfing Society were now only six pins adrift, and an unlikely victory was sealed with Ned (33) and the Capt.(25) seeing the Golfing Society cruise to victory against Gazard and Thorne by 15 pins, and grab a vital 2 points in their relegation battle.
