Golfing Society defeated by White Hart Colts

Although the Golfing Society lost by twelve pins against a side that has won every match since the opening day of the season, a few records tumbled to show that with a bit more luck they can escape the relegation battle that seems to be looming for the rest of the season.

With the Leprachaun (17) starting with an 8 and his opponent a duck, it seemed that the Golfing Society had a chance of winning this match against the newly promoted White Hart Colts. However the bootless Nissan lover (19) couldn't come to her partners aid, and between them they lost twenty pins.

However, all was not lost with Mr. Wobbly (26) rediscovering his form, but was negated by Mr. Wibbly (4) losing his, to leave the Golfing Society adrift by thirty nine pins.

This gave Ned (32) and the Capt. (34) really no chance at all, but caused the White Hart Colts to believe the game was in the bag which was nearly their undoing, as the Golfing Society clawed back 27 pins by the end of the match.

Next weeks match is at the Black Horse on Monday.

Capt. Pinder
