Odds & Ends too good for Golfing Society

Yet another match lost at the Catholic Club due to unavailabilities and poor scoring!

Taylor (24) and Lewis (30) got the Golfing Society off to a good start by pulling out a 4 pin lead over the home side opening pair.

Unfortunately, the middle pair of Crabtree (16) and Gibbs (13) had an off night, and lost 31 pins to give the Golfing Society's anchor pair little chance of winning the match.

But Pearce (39) and Pinder (25) despite pulling back 12 pins, were unable to overhaul the homeside's total score of 162 and so the match was lost by 15 pins.

Next match is Thursday 27th November at the Rugby Club versus the First Timers.
