No second innings for Crickets!!

Playing for the first time against the re-formed Crickets (who ru? who ru?), this All-in cup match was always going to be a close run affair, and so it proved with the Golfing Society winning by six pins over their high flying second division opponents.

Capt. Pinder rang the changes for this match with Gibbs (35) and Williams (35) opening up a one pin lead for Crabtree (30) and Lewis (43) to extend by a further six pins.

With the old firm of Pinder (42) and Pearce (31) once more back in harness and despite losing a pin, were able to propel the Golfing Society safely into the next round.
