Odds & Ends sorted!

In the first match of the second half of the season, the Golfing Society were looking to avenge their six pin defeat at the beginning of the season.

The TT pairing of Taylor (34) and Tinney (31) roared into a 27 pin lead, leaving the Odds & Ends already staring at defeat.

The Bearded Wonder (33) and Lewis (12) struggled against the expected fight back from the Odds & Ends, but were still able to hand on a 16 pin lead to the anchor pair.

Pearce (34) and Pinder (24) pulled a further 5 pins to give the Golfing Society a second successive win on the road, and looking for a third away victory against the Inlaws on Friday.

Match to commence at 9.15pm Catholic Club.

Once again the Bearded Wonder is wingeing on about injuries and players being forced to play through the pain barrier!

All I can say is that if any of you had a bad back like mine, none of you would have played a game!!

Can I say again that sick notes are only allowed if they have been countersigned by the players wife or partner, a police officer or Justice of the Peace. No other signature will do, unless the player has come to a financial arrangement with the Captain (that's me....Capt.Pinder) which will then of course excuse the player from playing until they are fit again.

Can I also mention that I make the rules, collect the subs, do the averages, write the reports, arrange/cancel games and go to boring meetings.

Now just get over it!!!!!
