A lacklustre performance saw the Golfing Society fall by 9 pins to the Gamblers.
The opening pair of Taylor and Lewis lost 11 pins, which was quickly turned into a lead of 17 pins by Bowker and Williams.
Tinney and Pinder could only muster 38 pins between them, which left the Gamblers holding a winning hand by the end of the match.
Top scorer for the Golfing Society was Rich Williams with 31.
Next game is away at the Plough on Wednesday night against the Crickets.
