Crickets bowled over by Golfing Society

After the first pair of Taylor and Lewis finished all square on 39 pins, the wibbly wobbly pairing of Bowker and Williams took over to give the anchor pair a lead of 7 pins.

Pearce & Pinder then poached a further 22 pins to give the Golfing Society a much needed boost to win the ashes by 29 pins.

Top score this week was Vernon Pearce with a top score of 31 pins to consolidate his position at the top of the combined averages.

The Golfing Society can look forward to next weeks matches against the Odds & Ends (Tuesday at Catholic Club 8.15pm) and Stone CC (at home on Thursday) with renewed confidence after this weeks fine victory.
