The Golfing Society cruised to their second victory in a week over a determined Wot-U-Wots outfit looking to avenge their previous forty three pin drubbing.
Crabbers (21) and Chairman Leprechaun (26) got the Golfing Society off to a great start on the always challenging Swan Thornbury alley, by pulling fourteen pins.
The Accountant (20) and the Capt. (23) improved the away sides lead by a further three pins despite being up against the home sides top scorer.
Cup Captain Ned (25) and the Builder (12) despite a below par performance still pulled two pins to see the Golfing Society consolidate their second place in the league with three matches to go.
Next match is Thursday 10th home to Wickwar Sports at 8.30pm, when the Golfing Society will be looking for a better performance against one of the lower sides in the league.
