The Golfing Society welcomed back Gibbo for his first game since the end of November, but unfortunately it was not a winning return with Gibbo (10) and the Leprachaun (17) losing twenty pins to the Pugler's opening pair.
With Mr Wibbly rested and Mr Wobbly in hospital, the Golfing Society's top scorer of the evening was Crabbers (24), and along with the Builder (16) managed to pull back a pin to leave the Golfing Society trailing by nineteen pins.
The Accountant (16) and Ned (23) gave the Golfing Society a chance of victory by making in roads into the Pugler's lead, but despite clawing back seven pins, the Golfing Society lost their second match of 2013 by twelve pins.
Next weeks match is away to the Wot-U-Wots at the Swan Thornbury 8.30 start.
