Gamblers come up trumps against Golfing Society

The Golfing Society's slump in form continued on Monday night with a 20 pin defeat away to the Gamblers.

Taylor(23) and Gibbs(22) edged the Golfing Society into a slender 1 pin lead, but despite the middle pair of Tinney(28) and Williams(24) scoring well, they lost 10 pins to leave the anchor pair 9 pins adrift.

Pearce(26) and Pinder(18) were unable to stem the tide, and the Gamblers ran out comfortable winners.

Next match is a Front Pin competition,  8pm start at the Catholic Club on January 26th.

Next league match is on January 29th, home to the Roaring Twenties when the Golfing Society will be looking to do the double over their opponents.
