Golfing Society Gunned Down By Lone Rangers

Due to delaying tactics by the Lone Rangers ( Dave Longman lost his book and threw his toys out of the pram) the match was delayed by some 10 minutes, as utter confusion reigned in the hunt for the lost book ( which was eventually found in Dave Longmans' coat pocket), and proved a forerunner of the misfortunes and ill luck which was to dog the Golfing Society throughout the evening.

The first pairing of Lewis & Tinney with a combined score of 38 ( congratulations Mike on this weeks top score of 29!), allowed the Lone Rangers to take an early lead of 4 pins.

The middle pairing of Bowker and Williams lost a further 12 pins and the match was virtually over.

Pearce and Pinder were unable to repair the damage and lost a further pin to lose the match by 17 pins in total.

All in all a disappointing result, and the team will be looking to bounce back next Thursday 25th January when they take on the White Hart A on home territory.

Capt. Pinder
